· The Menter’s Children’s Holiday Club has been awarded a grant of £2730 by Awards for all Wales and £500 from Wrexham County Borough Council’s CYMORTH grant scheme. The awards will be used to obtain more high quality equipment and to arrange outings for the children. |

· A Welsh medium Judo Club has been launched in Wrexham. Further details from the leader, Bob Edwards, on 01978 263459. |

Opportunities to socialise in Welsh, with a warm welcome to fluent speakers and learners, those who are used to attending Welsh language events and those who are totally new to the scene. Held at the Belmont Hotel, Belmont Road, Wrexham, at 8.00 every second Friday in the month. Entry £2, unless otherwise stated. |
